A game of intrigue and mystery. Murder Mystery is a remake of the classic Clue board game. In this strategy game 3-4 players to explore rooms and attempt to gather clues to discover who the murderer is. But beware, make one wrong guess and you could end up dead too!
Murder Mystery is a turn based game where player’s take turns moving between rooms and making guesses. At the beginning of play, three clues — one player, one weapon, and one room — are chosen at random and put into a special envelope, so that no one can see them. These clues represent the facts of the case. The remainder of the clues are distributed among the players.
The aim is to deduce the details of the murder; that is, the clues not held by the players. While determining the details of the murder, players make guesses, for example: “I suggest it was Bert, in the Palace, with the Broom.” Subsequently other players must declare if they can disprove this guess.
This continues until a player successfully makes a solve attempt or all players perish.
